Ingredients
4 cans of drained Ligo Tuna in Sunflower Oil (Hot & Spicy) 155g (set aside the oil)
2 cups of processed until powdery Rolled oats
2/3 pieces of Eggs
1/2 piece of minced White Onion
1/2 piece of minced Red Onion
3 cloves of grated Garlic
2 sprigs of chopped finely Chives (spring onions)
2 stems of chopped finely Cilantro
1 teaspoon Salt
Black pepper
Cooking oil/ oil from Ligo can
Directions:
1.
Add drained Ligo Tuna chunks into a mixing bowl.
2.
Add minced white onions, chopped chives, chopped cilantro, and grated garlic. Set aside.
3.
Add cooking oil and keep the heat high.Place the oats into a food processor and process for 2 minutes until powdery, then combine with tuna mixture.
4.
Season with salt and pepper.
5.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Add to the tuna mixture and stir until well combined.
6.
Shape tuna mixture into patties, 60g each.
7.
In a frying pan, heat the drained oil over medium-high heat.
8.
Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes from each side, or until golden brown.
9.
Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to drain.
