Ingredients
1 can of drained and chopped Ligo Sardines (Spanish Style) 155g (Set aside the oil)
250 grams of boiled Spaghetti noodles
1/2 teaspoon of whole Capers
1/2 teaspoon of sliced Black olives
2 gloves of sliced Garlic
3-4 pieces of sliced and chiffonaded Fresh basil leaves
5-8 tablespoons of Drained oil from Ligo can
2-3 tablespoons of chopped (without seeds) Fresh tomatoes
Directions:
1.
With a sauté pan, heat drained oil from Ligo can.
2.
Sauté sliced garlic until light brown.
3.
Add capers and olives.
4.
Add fresh tomatoes and sauté until soft.
5.
Add pasta water to deglaze pan, then let simmer.
6.
Add cooked pasta and season with salt to taste.
7.
Add chopped Ligo Sardines (Spanish Style) 155g and sauté until fully incorporated.
8.
Serve immediately. Top with chopped basil and grated parmesan if you like.
