Ingredients
1 can of drained Ligo Mackerel in Water 155g (in chunks)
1 tablespoon of diced White Onion
1 tablespoon of minced Garlic
1 teaspoon of grated or minced Ginger
3 pieces of Red siling labuyo, whole
4 cups of Taro leaves
5 cups of Kakang gata
2 teaspoons of Salt
Directions:
1.
Chop onion, garlic, ginger
2.
Chop/mashed Ligo Mackerel
3.
In a sauce pot, sauté onion, garlic, ginger
4.
Add kakang gata and let simmer
5.
Add taro leaves slowly; do not stir contents in the pot
6.
Press down the leaves until fully covered with liquid
7.
Add siling labuyo, season with salt and pepper
8.
Add mashed/chopped mackerel on top
